How do I initiate a chat in QuasarK?

To start a chat, go to the Portfolio screen and tap on the Chat icon at the upper right corner and then tap the Start new chat button. Enter the recipient's wallet address, and set the contact name and welcome message (optional). That’s it, you’ve requested a chat with the person!

I’ve sent an invite. What’s next?

Once the chat request is sent, wait for the recipient to accept it. If, for any reason, they choose to decline the invitation, communication unfortunately won't be possible. QuasarK prioritizes mutual consent for secure and private interactions.

A person has requested a chat with me. Where can I find the invitation?

Open the Portfolio screen, tap on the Chat icon at the upper right corner, and then tap on the chat request to accept or reject it.

What blockchains are supported?

It is possible to create chats for any of the 10 blockchains supported by QuasarK. Yet bear in mind that it is one network per chat, meaning that chats are network-specific and you can’t receive tokens on other network in a given chat.

Is there an option to block someone?

Absolutely. If you’d like to block a user, feel free to do it at any time by accessing their contact and selecting ‘Block user’. Should you ever reconsider, the power to unblock is right at your fingertips.

How do I make a chat completely private and secure?

QuasarK ensures the utmost privacy. All chats are end-to-end encrypted, providing a secure environment for your conversations and transactions.

Can I delete messages in QuasarK chats?

Absolutely, you can delete messages in QuasarK. Here's how you do it: Open the chat, tap on the contact icon at the upper right corner, and select 'Clear chat'. Keep in mind that this action removes all messages along with the chat. It's your space, your control.

Can I send tokens within a chat conversation?

Certainly! QuasarK enables you to send and receive tokens directly within your chat conversations. It's simple: just click on the icon at the lower right corner and choose whether you want to send or request tokens. Select the token you want to send or request, but keep in mind that only tokens operating on the specific blockchain where the chat is located will be displayed. Do note that there's a gas fee associated with completing transactions and transferring tokens. Happy chatting and transacting!

How can I find my transactions within a chat?

Chat transaction history is available by tapping on the contact icon and selecting ‘View transactions’.

I want to send a token but it is not on the list. Why?

The most probable reason is that you’re looking for a token operating on a network which is not the network of the chat you communicate in. Double-check the network compatibility, and if necessary, consider initiating a new chat with the person using the appropriate blockchain wallet address. What happens if I lose my device?

If your device is lost, your QuasarK chats are still secure. Your data is encrypted, and you can restore your account on a new device using your recovery phrase.

Can I send files in a chat?

As of now, QuasarK does not support the ability to send files within chats. However, we are always working on enhancing our features, and your feedback is crucial in shaping the future updates. Can I customize the appearance of my chats?

QuasarK offers UI colour palette customization options that also apply to chats.
